Beaumont Texas Housing Market Trends: Luxury vs Entry Level Home Sales

Calling all move up buyers this is the housing market you have been waiting for.  Homes in the entry level price points that are move in ready are flying off the shelves.  We are seeing homes go under contract in less than 30 days and often with multiple offers when the house is in move in ready condition.

Take a look at the chart that was published by the Southeast Texas Board of Realtors for the month of February.  If you look at the home sales, homes

under $299,999 made up 97% of the home sales for the month of February.  Wow.  That present an amazing opportunity for the move up buyer.  You can get top dollar in this housing market for your starter home and you have a large choice of homes over $300,000 to choose from.  

On the other hand if you are planning to sell your executive home or luxury home in Southeast Texas at this time you are going to want the advice of a top producing local professional Realtor more than ever.
