For the month of April it took an average of 94 days to sell a home in Beaumont, Texas.
That is about typical for the last few months in the median price ranges. In Beaumont, the median price of a home that sold in April was $139,900. Home sales under $200,000 accounted for close to half of all sales. Just 5.8% of the homes that sold in April closed for over $300,000.
What you should know-
As a seller if you have a home under $200,000 it is a sellers market. Just plan to list your home approximately 90 days before you want to move.
As a buyer it is still a sellers market with low levels of inventory (not many homes on the market) in all but the upper price ranges. You will need to act fast to have a chance to get the best of homes. Many of the move in ready homes are still going under contract in the first two weeks they are listed.
